Overnight Doula Services
Bringing your baby home from the hospital is both an exciting and exhausting time. Having good solid support at home to help you get through sleepness nights is essential to you and your baby’s well being. MamaAssist’s postpartum doulas will come to your home on a schedule that works for you, to help you care for your baby while you get some much needed sleep.
Postpartum Overnight Services Include:
- Caring for your baby while you rest (feed, burp, diaper, change clothes, massage, swaddle, settle, etc.)
- Breastfeeding assistance, ensuring correct latch and identifying potential issues
- If baby is bottle fed, we will feed per your schedule and keep a written record
- Wash, sterilize, and organize baby’s feeding accessories and breast pump kits
- Fold and put away baby’s laundry
- Organization and tidying of nursery
Overnights are usually 7-8 hours, start between 10pm and midnight, and end from 5am to 7am. It depends on your baby’s feeding schedule and when exactly you want the help. Each postpartum contract is customized to suit your needs. Weekend and weekday’s available.
